The headboard in the room was very wobbly.

A pleasant stay featuring stunning views and spacious accommodations, ideal for enjoying a bottle of champagne before a night out. The location is superb, with easy access to local pubs and restaurants. Access to private parking is a bonus during busy weekends. the room was minimalistic with no significant decor or ambiance to enhance comfort.

The location was great, I mean just a short walk to the pubs. And let me tell you, the room had this powerful shower that put some spas to shame, it was just what we needed after a long day. We even got a bucket of ice from the receptionist for champagne, not something I expected, but it made the evening special.

It wasn't a bargain, let’s be honest, but for what you get, it was still reasonable.

The check-in process was a hassle since there were no clear signs indicating where to collect the key from across the street. The toilet flushed poorly, and there was no toilet brush, which felt like an oversight. Lack of a wardrobe forced use of a dusty clothes rail. the shower temperature fluctuated and the headboard was a bit wobbly, making sleep uncomfortable at times. The entire building operated on one master key, raising some security eyebrows. the front door needed a decent handle. it was tricky to shut tight and secure.

Loved the location, so close to everything! Clean room with loads of tea and coffee. Only downside was the bed. could've used some extra support. Overall a pleasant stay. 😊

lobster hall hotel is a great affordable find! there is free parking which is a total lifesaver in whitby. the location is prime, just a quick stroll to the town center. rooms were super comfy and clean, and they had a ton of tea and coffee stuff which was awesome. the area was nice n quiet, perfect for a good nite’s sleep.

I stayed at Lobster Hall recently and really loved the location. It’s close to the harbor, perfect for exploring. My room was clean and had plenty of tea and coffee, which made it cozy. The bed felt super comfortable, ideal for a good night’s sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful at check-in. I found the curtains didn’t block out much light. I woke up early because of that. The bed creaked a bit during the night, which was annoying. a delightful stay with some minor quirks.

we had a great stay in whitby and found this place to be an excellent choice. the location was perfect for exploring the area on foot, and the king-size bed was super comfortable. cleanliness was top-notch, and the amenities like tea and coffee were a lovely touch.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement

Our family enjoyed a spacious double room for three nights. The highlight was the friendly staff and their delicious breakfast options. we were surprised by the lack of daily room cleaning unless requested. A refresh of the shower would elevate the experience. a decent choice for families!

The room was spacious and clean with a comfy bed and plenty of tea and coffee available. While the shower was powerful, the lack of a wardrobe and poor TV reception detracted slightly from the experience. it provided a great base for exploring Whitby.
